A Generations Update
After an extensive vetting and interview process, the Project Team is pleased to announce that we have selected the architectural firm WGM Design to work with Snyder on the Generations campaign.
WGM Design is a 10-person firm based out of Charlotte that specializes in faith-based designs, and they have the added benefit of having worked closely with our general contractor, Edifice Construction, on numerous large-scale church projects. Their impressive resume includes churches with both contemporary and traditional spaces, corporate headquarters, private schools, and medical office buildings. We believe that their proven team approach to design will bring a unique combination of functionality and efficiency to our specific projects.
WGM will soon begin working closely with the Project Team, the staff, and various volunteer groups from each area through a series of design sessions using community input. Their process allows them to gather information to fully understand our missions and goals. Emphasis will be placed on our specific priorities, our budget considerations, and the logistics of renovating fully occupied spaces. Preliminary conceptual designs will then be developed out of these sessions, all leading up to final conceptual plans featuring both 2D floor plans and 3D photo-real images showing final layouts with materials and color selections.
We are excited to be moving into this important next step, and we encourage you to be on the lookout for opportunities to engage in the process and share your ideas! We continue to be grateful for your interest in the project, your generosity, and your prayers.
