Music & Worship

The worship gatherings at Snyder exist to exalt God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, and to challenge and inspire people to follow Jesus every day with compassion and gratitude. We offer a variety of times and settings in which to worship.

Sanctuary Choir

The Sanctuary Choir leads service every Sunday at 11 a.m and hosts special events like the Singing Christmas Tree, and Spring Concert. They practice every Wednesday at 6:15pm in the Music Suite B2040. No audition required.

Worship Choir

The Worship Choir helps lead worship once a month for our 8:40 worship service. Practices are the Wednesday before at 6:15pm. This group leads September - May. No audition required.

Worship Band & Vocal Team

Snyder's Worship Band and Vocal team leads our 8:40 worship service. Auditions required.

Sanctuary Orchestra

The orchestra is comprised of professionals, students, and very proficient amateurs. They lead us in worship once a month (September thru April) and are featured as part of our Singing Christmas Tree and Spring Concert.

Youth Praise Band

9th - 12th graders lead their peers in worship during Life Groups every Sunday at 6pm (September - April). Practices are Sunday at 3:30pm in the Fellowship Hall.

Youth Choir

6th - 12th Grade Students rehearse each Sunday, 4:45—6:00pm in the Music Suite, Room B2040. This group sings for our morning worship services several times each year, participates in special projects such as The Singing Christmas Tree, attends state and national choral festivals, and takes an annual mini-tour each spring.

Children's Choir

Integrated with our LaunchPad Kids program that includes Music, Missions, Bible & Games. LaunchPad meets on Sundays from 4:30-6:15pm.

Our older children participate in the Singing Christmas Tree and all Children's choirs (3s thru 5th grade) participate in worship twice a year.

Handbells

This group meets each Sunday at 6:15pm where they prepare music for Sunday worship and special events such as the Singing Christmas Tree.

Laudate Ensemble

Snyder is blessed to have wonderful musical instrument resources with which we can learn and praise the Lord! Music enrichment opportunities are available for all ages and skill levels.

Men's Ensemble rehearses on Mondays beginning at 12pm in the Music Suite, Room B2040. Audition Required.

The Singing Christmas Tree

"The Tree," is one of Snyder's long-standing traditions where all of our music groups come together to put on a Christmas Show for the community. Performance dates for 2024 are December 5 - 8. Stay tuned for how to get involved! Rehearsals begin in Fall!
