Welcome House Fayetteville

Temporary Housing Ministry for Refugees & Immigrants

Welcome House Fayetteville is a ministry of radical hospitality and welcome for our refugee and immigrant neighbors who do not have a place to live upon arrival in the United States. Our mission is to share the love of Jesus through the ministries of hospitality and friendship while providing a safe home, settlement assistance, and bridges into the community.
This is a collaborative partnership between the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship of North Carolina (CBFNC), refugee agencies, and partner churches. Our goal is to meet the temporary needs and help them into permanent housing. We are also taking some of our rental houses and renovating into permanent housing to create community.
We hope you will "find your place and do your part." If you're still not sure of where to plug-in, let us know and we'll help you find a ministry that's right for you.

Backpack Buddies

1 in 6 kids in North Carolina are at risk of hunger. They lack food outside of school hours and Snyder's backpack buddy program is here to help provide kids in need a hunger-free weekend.

Snyder's BackPack Buddy program is designed to provide children experiencing food insecurity with nutritious, kid-friendly, pre-packed meals for the weekend—when they would not have access to a school’s free lunch and breakfast.

We purchase and assemble nutritious meals and snacks that kids can then take home for the weekend. In collaboration with 6 local schools and social workers, who identify kids in need, Snyder is able to provide over 650 meals a month. We pack bags monthly in the Fellowship Hall. Please contact Susie Reeder for more information.
