Empowering and Encouraging the Next Generation
The new school year is here! As we go into this year and all that the Lord has laid before us, we have such a sweet reminder from 1 Timothy to pray over our children. Paul writes, “Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity” (1 Timothy 4:12). We are called to live like Christ and be examples to those around us that may not have put their faith in Jesus Christ. Our kids are also called to be those examples. Even if they are young, they can make a huge impact by how they speak to others, love others, and their actions. We strive to walk alongside your kids here at Snyder to give them opportunities to own their faith and empower them to go out and invite a friend to church or share the Gospel! As we go into this season, let’s empower our kids with the Word of God and love of Jesus Christ!
This Sunday, August 25, we will come together and pray over our students and our teachers! We’ll also have a sweet treat for our students in the Gathering Hall and a special gift to all our teachers. We want to bless and encourage them as they start their school year! If you’re not yet involved with our Kids or Student Ministry, I encourage you to check them out! We have a variety of opportunities no matter your age or interests! If you’re interested in volunteering and leading our next generation, go to snydermbc.com/snyderserve and a team member will reach out! For our kids and students, we have fun opportunities to help them grow in their faith! See below or visit: snydermbc.com/kids or snyderstudents.com
