Still Faithful
Still Faithful: Celebrating Snyder’s Senior Reviv
God’s Purpose for Every Season of Life
What a wonderful three days of worship, fellowship, encouragement, and spiritual renewal we experienced during our Senior Revival, October 5–7! We gathered under the theme “Still Faithful: God’s Purpose for Every Season of Life,” and what a blessing it was to be reminded that God continues to work in and through His people, regardless of their age or season of life.
Throughout our three days together, we focused on three important biblical truths: God still has a purpose for our lives, He calls us to finish faithfully, and our faith can leave a lasting legacy for generations to come.
Our worship was especially meaningful. Pastor Richard Suggs and our accompanist led us in wonderful hymns of faith, while Pastor Giles Blankenship blessed us with beautiful solos. There is something powerful about hearing God’s people lift their voices together in songs that have encouraged believers for generations.
We were also blessed by the heartfelt testimonies of Sybil West, Geron Gambill, and Patt Kapp. Each shared a personal witness to God’s goodness and faithfulness. Their stories reminded us that our greatest testimony is often found in the everyday experiences of walking with Jesus through life’s joys, challenges, and changing seasons.
Our guest preachers, Pastors Sandy Saunders, Mike Ramos, and Blake Benge, brought inspiring messages from God’s Word. Each challenged us to continue growing in our relationship with Christ, serving others, and sharing the hope we have in Jesus.
One of the greatest blessings of these three days was the opportunity to gather as a church family, encourage one another, renew friendships, and celebrate the goodness of God. Revival is not simply about remembering what God has done in the past. It is about opening our hearts to what He desires to do in and through us today.
The psalmist declares, “They shall still bring forth fruit in old age” (Psalm 92:14, KJV). What a wonderful reminder that as long as God gives us breath, He has a purpose for our lives!
A heartfelt thank-you to everyone who helped make our Senior Revival such a tremendous success. We are already looking forward to the possibility of gathering again for another revival this spring!
Until then, may we continue to grow in faith, encourage one another, and faithfully serve the Lord.
The best is not necessarily behind us. God is still at work, and He is not finished with us yet!
